As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (IC3) at Wise, you will join a dynamic and innovative team focused on delivering impactful financial technology solutions. Your role involves leading large-scale projects by designing scalable backend systems and APIs while ensuring seamless integration with frontend technologies. You’ll maintain system reliability and foster API-first design principles to enhance product usability for both internal teams and partners. Additionally, you’ll drive the technical roadmap, provide strategic feedback on product roadmaps, manage technical debt, and collaborate across various functions to minimize redundancy and align goals. Mentorship is a key aspect of this role, as you will coach new engineers and ensure adherence to Wise’s engineering best practices in areas like observability, security, testing, and database usage. The ideal candidate possesses expert-level knowledge in backend technologies, full-stack capabilities, and experience with distributed systems and microservices, all while embodying Wise's values of collaboration and excellence.
