What you'll do

  • Design and implement Python-based automation playbooks for CSIRT workflows in GovCloud.
  • Extend Luna's agentic capabilities into the GovCloud environment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality daily.
  • Drive end-to-end ownership of software services, including testing, deployment, and on-call support.
  • Mentor other engineers through code reviews and promote engineering excellence practices.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python.
  • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD systems in regulated environments.
  • Hands-on experience building automation and backend services interacting with third-party APIs.
  • Proficient in reviewing AI-generated code and using AI tools for multi-step tasks.
  • Strong fundamentals in clean code, API design, testing, version control, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Experience with public cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical decisions to both engineers and non-engineer stakeholders.
