Senior Software Development Test Engineer will join the software agent team to ensure the quality of high-performance agents running across Unix, Linux, and Windows environments. The role involves defining and developing testing strategies, frameworks, and automated infrastructure for products that provide workload visibility, network policy enforcement, and runtime security. You will build automated tests to evaluate functionality, reliability, and performance over extended periods while collaborating with engineers throughout the development lifecycle. Key technical requirements include experience with Kubernetes, Golang, Terraform, OpenShift, and Rancher. The work focuses on solving complex problems related to securing workloads and AI infrastructure across various architectures like x86_64 and arm64. You will manage testing for diverse environments including virtual machines and container orchestration platforms to identify defects before production deployment in both on-premises and cloud settings.
Define and develop testing strategies, frameworks, and automation for software agents across Unix, Linux, and Windows platforms.
Design automated tests to evaluate functionality, reliability, performance, and quality over extended periods of time.
Build and maintain automated testing infrastructure for virtual machines, containers, and cloud-based environments.
Develop testing approaches for features including network policy enforcement, container protection, and runtime security.
Integrate automated testing into the software development and product delivery lifecycle.
Analyze test results to identify defects and reliability issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in collaboration with engineering teams.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
Experience testing complex software products or systems.
Experience with Kubernetes.
Experience developing or implementing automated software testing.
Experience working across the software development lifecycle and shipping products into production.
Experience designing and developing complex software testing frameworks, strategies, or infrastructure (preferred).
Experience with OpenShift, Rancher, Terraform, or other infrastructure automation technologies (preferred).
Experience testing in virtual machines, containers, cloud environments, or using Golang (preferred).
