As a Senior Software Architect - Data Center Systems, you will join the Data Center SW team to architect and develop the end-to-end software and firmware stack for server systems supporting GPU accelerated applications like Deep Learning. Required expertise includes designing scalable server systems at the software and hardware interface, managing Out of Band and In-band architectures, and utilizing protocols like Redfish, IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, and RDE to solve challenges in high-performance computing and accelerated computing environments.

What you'll do

Lead software activities for deep learning server platforms from initial design through production.
Drive the system architecture for complex server platforms in a multi-functional environment.
Design complete software solutions by partnering across application, system, and firmware teams.
Engage with major customers to align their requirements with the company's product roadmap.
Collaborate with business partners and vendors to shape products that meet specific technical needs.
Develop and drive the adoption of a roadmap for new technologies and protocols.
Make key technical decisions regarding complex inter-component dependencies in system designs.
Mentor architects and engineering teams to develop them into future leaders.

What we're looking for

BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience in system architecture and design.
Deep experience designing architecture for scalable and performant server systems at the software/hardware interface.
Understanding of HPC or deep learning workloads and accelerated computing platforms.
Expertise in out-of-band and in-band management architectures.
Knowledge of server system architecture and its impact on end application performance.
Experience implementing a left shift strategy to de-risk program execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
