Senior Security Certifications Expert - Adyen

What you'll do

• Lead the PCI certification process for Adyen's Payments Solution, including DSS, PIN/KMO, P2PE, PTS, MPoC, and SSF.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all PCI certifications across hardware devices, software applications, and solution-level certifications.
• Proactively plan for compliance deadlines by tracking expiry dates and engaging leadership to prepare engineering teams well in advance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with QSAs and external assessors, managing timelines and preparing assessment materials.
• Provide security guidance during vulnerability analysis and threat modeling sessions, translating compliance requirements into actionable tasks.
• Ensure audit readiness year-round by maintaining all necessary security documentation for assessments.

What we're looking for

• Deep subject matter expertise in PCI frameworks and standards (DSS, PIN/KMO, P2PE, PTS, MPoC, SSF).
• Proven track record of managing complex compliance pipelines with multiple certifications.
• Technical fluency to provide practical security guidance to hardware and software engineers.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• High autonomy in work without needing constant supervision or deadline reminders.
