Senior Scientist

What you'll do

• Generate data-backed hypotheses by analyzing data, systems, customers, and business needs.
• Use experiments and causal inference methods to validate hypotheses and drive business goals.
• Build machine learning models to solve complex problems.
• Create AI agents to automate data science workflows.
• Influence the product roadmap for fares and cross-organizational teams.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical leadership to influence product direction.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Machine Learning, or another quantitative field.
• 3+ years of industry experience as an Applied or Data Scientist or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industry experience as an Applied or Data Scientist or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with experiment design, exploratory data analysis, causal inference, and model development.
• Proficiency in a data ETL language like SQL and a scripting language like Python or R.
• Experience using statistical methodologies in platform, marketplace, or consumer domains (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to leverage data and systems thinking for storytelling and root cause analysis (preferred).
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Machine Learning, or other quantitative fields.
