As a Director of Senior Program/Project Management within Deutsche Bank’s Network Security & Cyber Resilience team in Cary, NC, you will lead complex network transformation programs that enhance the bank's cybersecurity posture. Your daily responsibilities include driving compliance with the Change Governance Framework (CGF), managing risks and dependencies across various environments, and ensuring alignment with security policies and regulatory requirements such as ECB cyber resilience and EBA ICT standards. You will leverage your expertise in network security technologies like Cisco, Check Point, and F5 to challenge technical designs for sufficiency and oversee activities related to vulnerability management and penetration testing. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of technology risk frameworks, and the ability to manage large-scale global programs while maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders under regulatory pressure.
Lead delivery of complex network transformation programs aligned with cyber security goals.
Ensure compliance with Deutsche Bank’s Change Governance Framework for all projects.
Oversee risk management and remediation progress across the network security portfolio.
Translate threat-driven principles into actionable network security requirements.
Partner with CSO to align initiatives with regulatory obligations and security policies.
Drive secure-by-design outcomes by influencing engineering teams from project inception.
Lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders on compliance and risk status.
What we're looking for
Proven experience leading large, multi-year global infrastructure and security-driven transformation programs.
Strong technical expertise in network security technologies including Cisco, Check Point, F5, firewalls, proxies, routing, segmentation, NAC.
Deep understanding of technology risk and control frameworks applied to large-scale network and infrastructure programs.
Demonstrated leadership managing multicultural teams delivering complex outcomes in regulated environments.
Excellent senior-level communication skills with relevant technical degree and professional certifications (PMP/PRINCE2 preferred).
Ability to translate threat-driven architecture principles into actionable network security requirements.
Strong proactive analytical skills, ability to manage ambiguity under regulatory pressure.
