TL;DR · Senior Product Security Lead

Senior Product Security Lead – NVIDIA Jetson As a Senior Product Security Lead, you will direct the product-security strategy and delivery for NVIDIA Jetson, Linux for Tegra (L4T), and the JetPack software platform. You will oversee the entire security roadmap from initial architecture through post-launch support, ensuring products remain secure and production-ready. Your daily responsibilities include embedding secure-by-design principles into firmware, boot software, the Linux kernel, device drivers, system software, and containers. You will perform threat modeling, risk analysis, and vulnerability assessments while coordinating triage with internal teams. The role requires expertise in secure boot, hardware roots of trust, key provisioning, and trusted execution. You will also manage SBOM creation, security white papers, and regulatory compliance for edge-AI, robotics, and autonomous machines. Required skills include experience with C, C++, Python, and securing complex embedded systems or SoC platforms.

What you'll do

  • Direct the product security strategy and roadmap for Jetson, L4T, and JetPack platforms.
  • Embed secure-by-design principles across firmware, boot software, Linux kernels, device drivers, and system services.
  • Lead threat modeling, risk analysis, and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Coordinate the triage and resolution of security findings with internal engineering teams and PSIRT.
  • Ensure product readiness for cybersecurity regulations like the EU CRA by identifying technical gaps and gathering evidence.
  • Create and maintain security documentation including SBOMs, white papers, and customer-facing collateral.
  • Serve as the primary security contact for internal engineering teams, program management, and strategic customers.
  • Develop scalable processes and metrics to track vulnerability response and overall product-release readiness.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in security engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product-security, platform-security, security-architecture, or technical leadership.
  • Experience securing complex embedded, Linux, robotics, edge-computing, automotive, or system-on-chip platforms.
  • Proficiency in low-level systems software including firmware, bootloaders, kernels, device drivers, and containers.
  • Solid knowledge of secure boot, roots of trust, trusted execution, key management, cryptography, and secure provisioning.
  • Practical experience with threat modeling, security architecture reviews, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.
  • Experience integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle, including SBOM generation and remediation workflows.
  • Experience with ARM-based embedded platforms or specific NVIDIA technologies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST SSDF, IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434, or others (preferred).
  • Proficiency in C, C++, or Python for embedded systems and security analysis (preferred).
