What you'll do

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for the Strata Logging Service and related telemetry platforms.
  • Define technical requirements for real-time data ingestion, streaming processing, storage, retention, and forwarding.
  • Collaborate with engineering to manage trade-offs between throughput, latency, reliability, and cloud infrastructure costs.
  • Translate customer problems into specific product requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics.
  • Develop a three-to-five-year platform vision and translate it into prioritized, actionable roadmap increments.
  • Identify AI-enabled analytics and automation opportunities based on customer needs and platform capabilities.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from initial discovery through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, technical enablement, and successful customer onboarding.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of product management experience with technical enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud platform products.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a logging, telemetry, observability, streaming data, security data, or comparable high-volume data platform.
  • Experience defining requirements for real-time or near-real-time data ingestion and processing with downstream storage or delivery.
  • Ability to discuss technical tradeoffs regarding distributed data pipelines, throughput, latency, schema evolution, retention, reliability, and cost.
  • Experience defining long-term product strategy and translating it into phased roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers to translate complex operational needs into platform capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, equivalent practical experience, or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience with network security, SIEM, event-streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka), or cloud infrastructure economics (preferred).
