As a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer on the Facilities & Engineering Automation team, you will collaborate closely with the capital project team to develop and implement robust process automation systems for a new plant. Your daily responsibilities include leading technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting complex control issues, as well as supporting new product introductions through automation engineering assessments and system configuration changes. You will also manage day-to-day operational support, including 24/7 on-call duties, preventive maintenance, and spare parts management for process and utility automation systems. This role requires extensive experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS, OPC, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, and DeviceNet technologies, along with a strong background in programming, design, installation, and lifecycle management of manufacturing process controls. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience enhancing safety, reliability, and productivity in drug substance plant operations through continuous improvements.

What you'll do
Lead technical root cause analysis for process control issues in plant operations.
Support new product introductions by conducting automation engineering assessments and implementing system changes.
