As a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer on the Facilities & Engineering (F&E) Automation team at Amgen, you will work closely with the capital project team to deliver robust process automation systems for the new plant’s operations, including complex system integration and lifecycle management tasks. Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical root cause analysis and incident investigations, supporting new product introductions through automation engineering assessments, and managing 24/7 operational support, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and spare parts management. You will need extensive experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS systems, network design, virtual infrastructure implementation, and advanced troubleshooting using OPC, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, and DeviceNet technologies. Additionally, hands-on experience in developing process control strategies for new product introductions and continuous improvements to enhance safety and productivity is essential.
