Senior Manager, Logistics Analytics & Optimization

What you'll do

• Manage a team of advanced technical professionals by setting KPIs, providing coaching, and delegating tasks to maximize productivity.
• Design and define the roadmap for analytics projects related to freight routing, capacity utilization, and cost structures.
• Integrate data from various sources to drive insights regarding cost, capacity, and operational constraints using optimization techniques.
• Direct the design of automated analytics frameworks and scalable procedures to improve network margin and service reliability.
• Partner with commercial leadership to deliver scenario analysis and data-backed recommendations for 3PL and 4PL businesses.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses using SQL, Python, and GCP tools to support engineering and business decisions.
• Build and maintain repeatable analytical frameworks and dashboards for ongoing network evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Establish governance frameworks and documentation standards to ensure all network models and data pipelines remain transparent and auditable.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or supply chain network design.
• 3+ years of experience directly managing advanced analytical or engineering teams.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel (complex formulas, scenario modeling).
• Deep expertise in operations research, network optimization, and commercial freight economics.
• Experience building dashboards and operational metrics in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with databases, ETL workflows, and large-scale operational datasets.
• Experience/familiarity with guiding data science or analytics teams in deploying AI-powered decision support tools (preferred).
• Experience with Python, GCP, or agentic frameworks for automation (preferred).
