What you'll do

  • Triage all security alerts, conduct detailed investigations, and escalate incidents as necessary.
  • Develop and implement Data Loss Prevention policies specifically tailored for the China market.
  • Lead periodic assessments to identify data security risks and develop mitigation action plans.
  • Review and update response plans for investigating and escalating non-compliance events.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics for data protection programs in the China market.
  • Provide technical guidance on China-based laws, regulations, and standards affecting data security.
  • Recommend system improvements based on industry trends and advancements in DLP technologies.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data security and DLP, including cyber security, risk management, and compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience investigating and participating in incident response efforts related to DLP.
  • Familiarity with DLP technologies such as encryption, access controls, ticketing systems, and SIEM systems.
  • Deep understanding of China-based laws, regulations, standards, and trade barriers affecting data protection.
  • Experience working with China-based stakeholders and knowledge of local business culture and collaboration technologies.
  • Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese (and other local writing systems) and English (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
