Senior Linux Systems Engineer, Connected Warfare

What you'll do

• Design and install IT systems with a focus on Linux for various classification levels.
• Maintain and troubleshoot server/storage infrastructure tailored to program-specific needs.
• Develop and execute automation scripts to solve recurring technical issues.
• Coordinate with ISSM and ISSO in monitoring information systems and implementing configuration management.
• Define and document standards and best practices for system design, testing, and implementation.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of IT infrastructure engineering experience.
• Advanced scripting skills with Bash and PowerShell for automation.
• Strong knowledge of clustered server infrastructure and Active Directory.
• Experience deploying IT systems in air-gapped and tactical environments.
• Professional experience with RHEL Image Builder and cloud-based resources.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance or higher.
• Desire to cross-train into other engineering disciplines like network and data links.
