JOB TITLE: Senior Lead Software Engineer (Golang + EKS, Kubernetes, LLM's + Agentic flows + control/data planes) The Senior Lead Software Engineer joins the Machine Learning Experience Team to lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers. This role involves building robust cloud-based solutions and distributed microservices to meet regulatory needs and drive financial empowerment experiences. The engineer will develop platforms for the rapid, responsible deployment of AI/ML solutions at scale, specifically focusing on integrating LLMs, agentic workflows, and control or data planes. Key technologies include Golang, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, HTML/CSS, and SQL. The role requires proficiency with AWS tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and open source RDBMS or NoSQL databases. Candidates must navigate complex business problems by marrying data with emerging technologies to solve technical challenges within a collaborative, iterative delivery environment.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
Build distributed microservices and full-stack systems to meet regulatory needs.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Implement AI/ML solutions and platforms using LLMs and agentic workflows.
Write and evaluate code using Go, Python, Java, and TypeScript.
Manage and deploy large-scale applications on Kubernetes.
Mentor other members of the engineering community.

What we're looking for

At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go.
Experience with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools.
Master’s Degree (preferred).
9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Python, Golang, or Node.js (preferred).
4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
2+ years of experience in Kubernetes: hands-on deploying and managing large-scale apps on Kubernetes (preferred).
1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
2+ years of experience with Amazon SageMaker, Databricks, or another comprehensive ML platform (preferred).
Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity (preferred).
Familiarity with platforms/environments integrating LLMs, Agentic workflows, or control and data planes (preferred).
