Familiarity with Kubernetes networking concepts, distributed systems patterns, and cloud-native technologies is essential, as you will collaborate across teams to enhance reliability and observability for critical networking functionalities.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement gRPC/protobuf APIs for CNI install/update, status polling, and environment network state visibility.
  • Build async workflow execution for long-running networking operations with idempotency and durable operation status.
  • Develop automation for packaging, publishing, and rolling forward in-cluster networking components using Helm charts and OCI artifacts.
  • Integrate networking workflows with OSSP management-plane create/update paths to validate behavior in production-like environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving Kubernetes networking, generated SDKs, protobuf contracts, and service rollout behavior.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of experience in backend services, APIs, or platform automation development
  • Expertise in Kubernetes networking concepts and CNI-based systems
  • Proficient in designing and implementing gRPC/protobuf APIs
  • Experience managing Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and release automation
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems patterns including async workflows
  • Practical knowledge of Linux and cloud networking principles
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues across multiple services
