As a Senior iOS Engineer within the engineering team supporting Aetna Digital, you will help members effectively find the care they need by building high-quality mobile app features. You will work alongside engineers, product, and design teams to contribute code and tests, monitor and troubleshoot production applications, and refactor existing code to improve stability and scalability. Your daily work involves enhancing application performance, maintainability, and extensibility. You must utilize Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation, and Git/Github to develop these solutions. The role requires expertise in Unit testing, UI testing, and accessibility testing. You will apply MVC and MVVM architectural patterns while following Agile/SAFe principles and utilizing CI/CD tools like Circle CI to deliver software into the cloud for a large membership base.

What you'll do

Contribute code and tests according to criteria established by the product team.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and support the application in production.
Refactor existing code to improve application stability and scalability.
Seek opportunities to enhance application performance, maintainability, and extensibility.
Deliver new features for the website and mobile applications.
Implement UI designs in coordination with the design team.

What we're looking for

5+ years of iOS development experience.
5+ years of experience in Swift.
5+ years of experience with Git/Github.
3+ years of experience in Unit test and UI test.
2+ years of experience with SwiftUI.
1+ years of experience with accessibility/accessibility testing.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience).
Extensive use of SwiftUI in current iOS projects (preferred).
