What you'll do

Produce and maintain capacity models to define labor planning and capex requirements.
Design effective facility layouts using CAD and simulation for optimal material flow.
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks by driving cross-disciplinary actions.
Use data-driven approaches to improve throughput in manufacturing processes.
Lead the design of production lines for both low-rate and full-rate production.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in high-rate manufacturing with complex mechanical/electrical assembly.
Expertise in factory and production line design using Value Stream Mapping, continuous flow techniques.
Proficient in material flow systems including pull systems, Kanban, and part presentation to operators.
Experience with digital simulation tools like Siemens Plant Simulation for modeling production lines.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and implementation in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read technical documentation such as drawings and CAD data for various hardware processes.
