Senior Game Engineer, Gen AI

What you'll do

• Prototype and ship AI-augmented gameplay features in close coordination with Game Designers.
• Implement Generative AI features to create dynamic, high-quality, and intentional player experiences.
• Architect the integration of GenAI into core game systems like behavior trees and narrative engines.
• Develop a logic layer to ensure AI-generated content remains safe, balanced, and on-theme.
• Build internal tools using GenAI to accelerate level blocking, asset variation, and playtesting loops.
• Debug complex interactions between AI systems and deterministic game logic to maintain environment stability.
• Fine-tune and chain LLMs or Diffusion models to produce predictable results within the game world.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional experience in game development.
• Deep understanding of game architecture, player controllers, and real-time systems.
• Proven experience using LLMs or Diffusion models to solve specific product problems.
• Ability to prompt, fine-tune, and chain models to get predictable results in a game world.
• Expert-level C++ or C# (Unity/Unreal).
• Grasp of Python for tooling and data pipelines.
• Understanding of how AI personality or generation parameters affect game balance and the player journey.
