As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, ATM Platforms - VP, you will join the engineering team to bridge the gap between low-level embedded hardware systems and modern cloud-native enterprise architectures. You will design, develop, and secure critical ATM software, transaction processing systems, and administrative dashboards while ensuring high availability across distributed banking infrastructure. Your daily work involves building backend services, implementing cryptographic protocols like Triple DES and AES, and managing both relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL systems for telemetry. You will utilize a diverse tech stack including C++, Java, Python, Node.js, Go, and frontend frameworks like Angular or React. Additionally, you will manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes on OpenShift platforms while ensuring compliance with financial standards such as ISO 8583, EMV, and PCI DSS to secure transaction integrity.
What you'll do
Develop and maintain high-performance software for ATMs and financial self-service terminals with low-level hardware interactions.
Architect and implement secure internal and external APIs for fleet management and core banking integration.
Implement cryptographic protocols, tokenization, and secure boot processes to protect financial transactions.
Build scalable backend services and responsive administrative dashboards for monitoring and system configuration.
Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases for transaction integrity and telemetry data analysis.
Orchestrate containerized deployments and manage cloud infrastructure using automated CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure all software and configurations comply with PCI DSS, EMV, and other financial regulations.
Diagnose and resolve complex software and network issues in high-availability production environments.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience focusing on embedded systems, financial transaction systems, or ATM software.
Proven experience developing low-level applications for hardware peripherals like card readers and cash dispensers.
Experience building enterprise-grade backend services and modern web-based administrative dashboards using C++, Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or JavaScript frameworks.
Proficiency in managing relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
Expertise in security measures including cryptographic protocols (Triple DES, AES), tokenization, secure boot, and OS hardening for Windows and Linux.
Experience with financial messaging standards such as ISO 8583 and EMV chip card standards.
Proficiency in cloud and DevOps tools including OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
