Senior Engineering Manager, Unified Embeddings Platform

What you'll do

• Lead the creation of foundational embeddings using state-of-the-art architectures.
• Design and evolve Reddit’s Embeddings platform to enable access, storage, and sharing of embeddings.
• Drive high-impact projects that align with Reddit's engineering and business goals.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of machine learning engineers and data scientists.
• Establish best practices for the production, consumption, and governance of ML features.
• Serve as a thought partner to product and upper management on strategic initiatives.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience in people management
• 8+ years of work experience in production software development
• Experience working on large-scale ML systems serving millions of users
• Experience building self-service platforms for data and embeddings storage
• Strong organizational and communication skills
