What you'll do

Lead and develop an engineering team supporting Supplemental Benefits platforms using Google Cloud Platform technologies.
Drive the modernization of applications and services with cloud-native architecture and AI adoption.
Partner with cross-functional teams to define technical strategy and delivery priorities for scalable solutions.
Improve system scalability, reliability, observability, and operational excellence in engineering practices.
Guide teams in building secure, resilient, and maintainable cloud-native solutions across platforms.

What we're looking for

7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years leading teams
Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services
Proven track record in modernizing applications and platforms in complex enterprise environments
Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, APIs, cloud-native design, and event-driven architectures
Experience driving CI/CD, testing practices, observability, incident management, and secure software development
1+ year of experience in practical AI/ML or generative AI adoption in engineering or product environments
