This role involves hands-on design and development of embedded automotive software solutions using Linux, including work on application boot loaders, kernels, user spaces like Android, and real-time Linux environments. The ideal candidate will optimize system performance, adhere to open-source community standards, and ensure safety and security compliance in Automotive contexts. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams across locations to define and implement comprehensive software solutions, requiring expertise in C/C++, real-time operating systems, and embedded systems power management. Preferred qualifications include experience with Android HAL, build systems, kernel drivers, memory management, and virtualization on ARM SoCs, as well as hands-on knowledge of Linux Automotive OS and AOSP.
