As a Senior Software Engineer – Android, you will join Walmart’s Product Details Page Customer Experience Team to design and build high-quality customer-facing mobile experiences for the Product Detail Page. Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical discovery, integrating GraphQL APIs, and developing features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. You’ll own production readiness by ensuring performance, security, reliability, and accessibility through testing and monitoring, while also driving improvements in CI/CD pipelines and release quality. The role requires strong experience with Android architecture patterns, concurrency, and collaboration with backend teams on API design. Drive collaboration with backend engineers to evolve API contracts serving mobile needs.
Build features using Kotlin (advanced) and Jetpack Compose with modern architecture patterns.

Lead code reviews and design discussions, influencing mobile standards.
What we're looking for
Strong experience building and shipping production-grade Android applications using Kotlin and modern frameworks.
Hands-on experience integrating mobile apps with GraphQL APIs, handling data and error scenarios.
Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
