As a Senior Electrical Engineer on the Anduril Imaging team, you will own the electronics architecture for space-bound imaging payloads and drive their design from concept through flight. This system-level role involves defining electrical architecture, making build-versus-buy and COTS-versus-rad-hard tradeoffs to manage schedule and cost, and remaining hands-on in layout, bring-up, and qualification of hardware. You will set technical direction for power, sensor, and interface electronics while working in rapid design cycles to get robust hardware into space within twelve months. Key responsibilities include translating performance models into electrical requirements, iterating on real hardware, and ensuring designs are manufacturable from the start. The role requires strong analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics expertise, as well as experience with space environment qualifications like TVAC and EMI/EMC testing. You will collaborate closely with firmware, optics, mechanical, systems, and program teams to drive integration and mentor junior engineers.
