Senior Distributed Software Engineer, Golang

What you'll do

• Lead the architecture and design of distributed storage services optimized for AI/ML.
• Develop and maintain scalable Go programs deployed on Kubernetes and other open-source ecosystems.
• Build user-space applications, containers, Go-bindings, and CLI tools.
• Develop features to enhance availability and reliability for large-scale distributed storage deployments.
• Automate the end-to-end deployment, management, and monitoring of distributed storage services.
• Implement storage services and interfaces to ensure high-performance and reliable solutions.
• Own the full software development lifecycle from initial inception to production support.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Strong background in developing distributed systems involving Golang, Kubernetes, and Cloud Service Provider integrations.
• Experience in implementing storage services and interfaces to ensure scalable, high-performance, and reliable solutions.
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise software.
• Experience deploying, managing, and debugging applications in a Kubernetes environment.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Experience architecting and deploying distributed services on large-scale clusters with multi-petabyte to exabyte size (preferred).
