Senior Digital Forensics and Incident Response Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide forensic technical expertise to support incident response, remediation, and root-cause identification.
• Lead investigations into identity theft, account takeover, and associated fraud activities.
• Conduct forensic analysis to determine attack methods and identify underlying root causes.
• Develop and implement automated detection capabilities and investigative workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Correlate incident data to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Create in-depth reports for leadership regarding high-profile incidents within corporate infrastructure.
• Manage real-time forensic capabilities to collect and analyze data correlations.
• Influence department strategy through technical leadership and automation initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Must reside within 60 minutes of specified metropolitan locations or be willing to relocate.
• Requires at least 3 years of experience in Cyber Security.
• Requires at least 3 years of experience in Digital Forensics and/or Incident Response.
• Requires at least 3 years of experience working with Splunk, including query authoring, alerting, and dashboard development.
• Desirable: At least 5 years of Digital Forensics experience using tools like FTK, Axiom, or Encase.
• Desirable: GIAC/SANS certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GIME, or GASF.
• Desirable: At least 2 years of experience in cloud forensics and incident response.
• Desirable: At least 1 year of experience investigating artificial intelligence systems.
