Senior Deployed Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Own the health and uptime of deployed imaging systems, diagnosing issues across all components.
• Develop and extend modular software services for edge-compute devices in challenging environments.
• Support field operations by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues remotely or on-site.
• Serve as a technical representative during integrations with external teams and customers.
• Maintain comprehensive understanding of the full system stack, including hardware, firmware, networking, and software.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of software development experience with production responsibility.
• Strong Python and C++ skills for developing in Linux-based environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across system boundaries (networking, services, hardware).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical explanations to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15% of the time for field testing and customer integrations.
• Secret clearance required.
