What you'll do

Build and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold lakehouse pipelines to process healthcare and behavioral data.
Develop feature engineering workflows and reusable data products to support machine learning and real-time decisioning.
Construct batch and real-time ingestion pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake.
Implement data quality validation, monitoring, alerting, and testing controls for production-ready assets.
Design scalable data models that balance performance, usability, and long-term maintainability.
Optimize Spark workloads, storage strategies, and partitioning schemes to improve efficiency and cost management.
Ensure data governance by following standards for lineage, security, and PHI regulatory compliance.
Resolve pipeline failures and production incidents to maintain reliable platform operations.

What we're looking for

Must have 5+ years of data engineering experience building and operating production data platforms.
Must possess strong SQL and Python skills with hands-on experience developing Spark-based data pipelines.
Must have experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or comparable lakehouse platforms.
Must have experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) data patterns.
Must have experience building both batch and streaming data processing pipelines.
Must possess a strong understanding of data modeling, pipeline testing, and data quality controls.
Must be familiar with modern cloud-based data platforms and distributed data processing systems.
Must have strong communication skills to collaborate across engineering, analytics, and business teams.
