As a Senior Data Backend Engineer, you will join the team developing data engineering solutions to empower developers in autonomous vehicle domains. You will design and optimize microservices, distributed applications, and high-performance pipelines to process massive volumes of video data for mining and AI training. Your daily responsibilities include building tools for streaming, resilience, logging, security, authentication, and workflow orchestration while deploying models and developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation workflows. The role requires proficiency in Python or Golang, along with experience in Kubernetes, Helm, Hive, Parquet, SQL, and vector databases like Milvus. You will also work with big data engines to solve challenges in video data curation and behavioral search. What we're looking for
MS with 6+ years of experience, or BS (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python or Golang.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, Hive, Parquet, SQL, and vector databases like Milvus.
Experience building ETL pipelines and working with big data engines.
Experience developing high-performance, scalable software systems and distributed applications.
Experience in data mining and AI development.
Prior experience with large-scale real-time streaming, augmented reality, or data curation (preferred).
Prior background with Spark or exposure to LLMs, Vision-Language Models, and RAGs (preferred).
