What you'll do

  • Design canonical data models for trusted reporting and analytics.
  • Build and evolve Snowflake datasets with clear metric definitions for consistent enterprise reporting.
  • Develop reliable ELT/ETL pipelines across Snowflake and SQL Server for batch and real-time loads.
  • Implement robust pipeline patterns including incremental processing, idempotency, deduplication, and backfill strategies.
  • Establish data quality practices and enforce observability to maintain production-grade data products.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience building production data systems with ownership of data modeling and pipeline engineering.
  • Strong SQL skills, including advanced querying, performance tuning, and hands-on experience in Snowflake or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proven expertise in data modeling for analytics, dimensional modeling, conformed dimensions, and slowly changing dimensions.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing ELT/ETL pipelines, including batch and near-real-time patterns.
  • Proficiency in a general-purpose language (Python, Java, Scala) for automation, orchestration, and integrations.
  • Working knowledge of modern data engineering practices: testing transformations, CI/CD, environment promotion, operational monitoring.
