Additional desirable skills include GPU driver experience, understanding of GPU-accelerated workloads, and proficiency with AI frameworks like PyTorch.

What you'll do

  • Conduct workload bring-up and performance analysis on silicon and full-system simulators.
  • Study real-world use-cases to identify critical application behavior for various markets.
  • Analyze and debug performance scaling bottlenecks in multi-core and multi-socket CPU systems.
  • Work with architects to improve future CPU designs based on performance findings.
  • Benchmark NVIDIA’s CPUs against competitors and recommend software or hardware improvements.

What we're looking for

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant CPU workload analysis and performance tuning experience.
  • Deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture and system architecture.
  • Proficiency in developing performance tests and benchmarks for CPUs and I/O.
  • Experience analyzing and debugging multi-core and multi-socket CPU/GPU systems.
  • Knowledge of ARM instruction set architecture (ISA) preferred.
  • Familiarity with GPU-accelerated workloads and AI framework optimization.
