What you'll do

Develop plant-level control logic for utility-scale solar PV and BESS facilities.
Design control strategies for active power control, reactive power control, and frequency response in hybrid systems.
Review OEM and EPC-supplied control designs to ensure successful commissioning.
Support HIL testing environments for controller validation before field implementation.
Lead factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
Provide technical guidance to less-experienced engineers through knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for

5+ years of controls engineering experience in utility-scale solar PV or BESS facilities.
Experience developing control strategies for grid-connected renewable energy assets.
Hands-on experience with PPC or EMS commissioning and acceptance testing.
Proficiency in IEC-61131-3 control logic development using Codesys, AcSELerator, Beckhoff TwinCAT, or equivalent platforms.
Working knowledge of PSS/E and/or PSCAD for controller-level modeling and validation.
Strong troubleshooting skills with experience tracing issues through software and system behavior.
Knowledge of IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, NERC MOD-026, and MOD-027 standards.
