What you'll do

Implement and optimize cloud-native solutions using AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and EKS.
Design cloud infrastructure that incorporates regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS and SOC 2.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems across multiple layers and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Maintain cloud security best practices including IAM policies, VPC design, and encryption key management.
Deploy and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CI/CD best practices.
Implement disaster recovery plans to ensure high availability and fault tolerance for mission-critical systems.
Build and maintain observability solutions including logging and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for cloud infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

What we're looking for

Candidates must independently possess the eligibility to work in the United States for any employer.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is typically required.
Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS.
Candidates must possess strong expertise in AWS core services, Kubernetes (EKS), and Linux environments.
Candidates must have hands-on Docker experience and experience maintaining Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
Candidates must have experience implementing security and compliance controls aligned with frameworks like PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FFIEC.
Current AWS or other cloud-based certification(s) are required.
