Leidos seeks a Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer to join its accreditation and operation team for the DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP), supporting TCPED of OSINT across Defense and Intelligence Community enterprises. This role involves collecting, reviewing, and assessing cybersecurity artifacts, conducting compliance scanning, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis for cloud-based systems, implementing security controls for containerized applications, and ensuring integration of security measures into software development processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, scripting languages like Bash or Python, and Commercial Cloud Services such as AWS. They should also be familiar with RMF/GRC platforms, NIST standards, and cloud security threats, and possess certifications like CCNA Security or CISSP. Additional skills in supporting Intelligence Community RMF activities, applying Zero Trust frameworks, and securing AI implementations are highly valued.

What you'll do
Conduct periodic compliance scanning and vulnerability assessments for cloud-based systems.
Implement and manage security controls for containerized applications in the cloud.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for STIG compliance validation.
Support cybersecurity officials in preparing accreditation packages like ATO and IATT.
Stay updated on emerging cloud security threats and best practices.
What we're looking for
Active or current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Assurance, Engineering, or related field plus 12-15 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 10-13 years of experience
At least one DoD 8570.01-M IAT or IAM Level II certification such as CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, CISSP (or Associate)
Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and scripting languages like Bash, Python, Perl
Experience securing software applications and infrastructure by implementing security controls in cloud environments
Proficiency with RMF processes including authorization and continuous monitoring
