What you'll do

  • Review and challenge credit loss forecasts for various lines of business to inform quarterly allowances and annual stress testing.
  • Identify explicit and implicit assumptions, limitations, and weaknesses within credit loss estimation frameworks.
  • Pressure test the appropriateness of loss projections through conceptual and tactical challenges.
  • Improve credit loss estimation frameworks by connecting future consumer trends to historical behavior.
  • Create risk models and test hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis.
  • Develop and implement sustainable processes to identify, communicate, and document challenges in loss estimation approaches.
  • Partner with internal teams across Credit Risk Management and Finance to drive effective oversight of loss forecasts.

  • At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or a Master's Degree/MBA with a quantitative concentration.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience in statistical model building.
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL querying.
  • 1+ years of experience in market research.
  • 1+ years of experience in consulting.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence others and drive agreement.
