What you'll do
Serve as a hands-on data governance consultant for the analytics platform (Databricks).
Establish and evolve a data governance strategy to support trusted data assets for business functions and AI.
Define and maintain governance standards that promote data discoverability and appropriate use in partnership with compliance teams.
Partner with stakeholders to identify critical data elements impacting reporting, decisions, and AI outcomes.
Capture and govern business data definitions and dataset context to ensure consistent interpretation and use.
Apply governance within a central-to-federated operating model to enable distributed ownership while maintaining alignment to enterprise standards.
What we're looking for
6-12 years of experience in data governance or related roles, preferably in complex environments
Proven ability to apply governance concepts while balancing business needs and risk
Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts into business language
Experience working with modern cloud platforms like GCP and Databricks
