What you'll do

  • Respond to and resolve cybersecurity incidents.
  • Proactively prevent the reoccurrence of security incidents.
  • Develop new security principles and concepts.
  • Provide innovative solutions for unusually complex security problems.
  • Mentor and supervise employees on technical competencies.
  • Utilize SIEM or DCAP tools for security operations analysis.
  • Apply Cyber Kill Chain methodology and MITRE ATT&CK framework to defense.

What we're looking for

  • Experience with intelligence-driven defense, Cyber Kill Chain methodology, or MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Knowledge of industry-accepted standards for incident response and best practices for SOC operations.
  • Knowledge of security operation tools, including SIMs or DCAP analysis.
  • Knowledge of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience supporting IT or intelligence operations, or 11+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience supporting a computer incident response team, cyber network operations, or SOC operations for a large enterprise (preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or various GIAC certifications (preferred).
