Security Engineer, Bridge

What you'll do

• Design and implement the Bridge security roadmap from first principles to production.
• Identify and mitigate critical security risks for the Bridge platform quickly and pragmatically.
• Lead threat modeling and hardening efforts for money movement systems with crypto and infra teams.
• Build core security capabilities including monitoring, secrets management, incident response, and access controls.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines and reinforce engineering best practices for secure development and infrastructure.
• Ensure the platform meets compliance and audit requirements as it scales into regulated markets.
• Integrate Bridge systems with Stripe infrastructure while developing custom solutions where necessary.

What we're looking for

• At least 8 years of experience in Security engineering.
• Experience building or scaling security programs at a startup or in an embedded role.
• Ability to design, build, and scale security programs from the ground up.
• Proficiency in writing and debugging backend application code with Ruby experience preferred.
• Ability to perform threat modeling and hardening for money movement systems.
• Capability to manage monitoring, secrets management, incident response, access controls, and CI/CD hardening.
• Ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in the potential of crypto and stablecoins for global financial infrastructure.
