What you'll do

  • Design and execute in vitro toxicology assays like cell viability, high-content imaging, and organ-on-chip models.
  • Generate high-quality experimental data to characterize safety liabilities for compounds, biologics, and new modalities.
  • Develop predictive models, analytical workflows, and decision-support tools using Python or R.
  • Build reproducible computational pipelines and user-friendly applications for non-programming scientists.
  • Translate complex biological challenges into integrated experimental and analytical strategies.
  • Serve as a scientific bridge between bench scientists, toxicologists, pathologists, and data engineers.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What we're looking for

  • A PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Computational Biology, or a related life sciences discipline is ideal.
  • A Master's degree with 8 to 10 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 10 to 12 years of experience is required depending on the level.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience designing, executing, and troubleshooting in vitro toxicology or cell-based assays is required.
  • Working proficiency in Python and/or R to develop reproducible analytical workflows and scientific software solutions is required.
  • Experience applying statistical, machine learning, and data analysis methods to biological, translational, or safety-related datasets is required.
  • Ability to translate complex biological problems into integrated experimental and computational strategies is required.
  • Experience with New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), such as 3D models or organ-on-chip systems, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, large biological data platforms, and modern AI methodologies like LLMs is preferred.
