Research Engineer 4/5, Member Lifecycle and Monetization

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and operate high-impact machine learning models.
• Translate business intuition into data-driven solutions by identifying high-value ML applications.
• Create scalable, production-ready ML solutions for large-scale, real-time systems.
• Take ML algorithms from initial concept through to full production deployment.
• Contribute to the development of infrastructure for developing and deploying ML models.
• Apply best practices for availability, scalability, operational excellence, and cost management.
• Run offline experiments and build online A/B tests for production systems.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of full-time engineering experience.
• Excellent software design and development skills in multi-language settings with Scala, Java, and Python.
• Proficiency in software engineering best practices including version control, testing, and code review.
• Broad understanding of core machine learning concepts and their application in large-scale, real-world systems.
• Familiarity with end-to-end machine learning pipelines and common challenges like explainability.
• Experience with large-scale applications involving machine learning.
• Exceptional communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly to cross-functional partners.
