As a Red Team Engineer within the Global Cyber Security group, you will serve as a core technical contributor for adversary-emulation and threat-informed security testing, executing activities in accordance with State Street’s standards to assess enterprise applications and critical infrastructure components. You will collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts, process stakeholders, and business system owners to develop realistic testing scenarios that reflect current adversary behaviors and enterprise risks. Your responsibilities include evaluating detection and response capabilities, developing or adapting tools using scripting languages like Python or Bash, and producing clear, audit-ready reports to support remediation efforts. The role requires strong proficiency in offensive security techniques, a deep understanding of attack frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, and broad technical knowledge across networks, operating systems, cloud services, and security controls.

What you'll do
