What you'll do

Develop and maintain virtual CPU and memory aspects of the virtual machine platform.
Implement new CPU feature enablement and x86_64 instruction set virtualization.
Design and deliver features for new processors or monitor architecture enhancements.
Program in C and assembly to handle machine-specific constructs and kernel internals.
Manage memory virtualization, resource management, and interrupt architecture.
Develop hardware accelerators and power-aware compute features.
Create technical proposals to define the design roadmap for the monitor architecture.
Present technical work and project progress to other engineering groups.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of related experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of related experience.
PhD plus 3+ years of related experience.
Experience in C and assembly programming.
Experience working on the kernel and/or virtualization space.
Proficiency in x86_64 CPU architecture.
Deep understanding of processor architecture and low-level OS kernel internals.
Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
