Radio Frequency Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Maintain ownership of production test flows and provide hands-on troubleshooting for complex electrical issues.
• Improve test systems to increase automation, consistency, cycle time, and test coverage.
• Generate test work instructions for technicians and provide training on equipment use.
• Determine root causes of product failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze test data and provide detailed reports to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure precision and reliability.
• Provide feedback to design engineers for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Support early-stage test design for new product introduction processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
• Experience with contract manufacturers in testing PCBA/electronic assemblies and thorough knowledge of PCBA testing standards.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment including power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition sensors.
• Strong root cause analysis skills for non-conforming hardware.
• Familiarity with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES).
• Experience working on projects involving the integration of electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
