Quality Specialist, Intelligence Systems

What you'll do

• Manage the site Materials Review Board (MRB) process and oversee non-conforming material disposition.
• Inspect materials at both local and supplier sites to verify quality standards and non-conformances.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on incoming materials and coordinate data acceptance from suppliers.
• Conduct root cause analysis and manage internal rework to resolve production issues.
• Create inspection plans for incoming, in-process, and end-of-line manufacturing stages.
• Train technicians and inspectors on inspection plans and accurate data capture procedures.
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and continuous improvement projects for process efficiency.
• Analyze data and traceability records to identify trends or inconsistencies affecting product quality.

What we're looking for

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field or experience.
• 5+ years of experience in metrology inspection or a quality role.
• Experience with production support and quality management.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES software and inspection data management software.
• Experience with calibrated equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro arm, OMM, and others.
• Knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing as per Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including wire diagrams, work instructions, and CAD.
• Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949, or similar QMS standards.
• Experience using investigative equipment such as x-ray inspection and digital characterization.
• Ability to communicate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
