What you'll do

  • Lead and manage a team of Software Quality Engineers supporting mission-critical aerospace programs.
  • Translate program requirements into SQE priorities, ensuring alignment with schedules and budgets.
  • Define and implement processes for verifying software compliance, reliability, and safety on assigned programs.
  • Provide technical oversight and approval for software verification strategies and quality artifacts.
  • Coordinate supplier SQE activities and assess deliverables for quality and conformance.

What we're looking for

  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role or completion of Boeing's "Exploring Leadership" course.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience supporting software development programs, including verification, reviews, testing.
  • 1+ year of experience in Software Quality Engineering with AS9115 and/or DO-178 requirements.
  • Experience working with program leadership to prioritize and resolve technical quality issues.
  • Active U.S. security clearance required for the position.
  • Practical experience with Agile software development and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps tooling and secure software development lifecycle practices.
