Quality Engineer The Quality Engineer joins the Spectacles team Software Engineering Team to support the development of next-generation wearable computing devices. What you'll do

Perform manual testing of firmware to identify regressions.
Test software applications on iOS and Android devices to provide data for developer triaging.
Monitor and triage reported bugs using Jira and Crash Report Tooling.
Design, develop, and maintain innovative testing approaches to ensure product performance and reliability.
Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans at the application and system levels.
Conduct exploratory testing on products to improve coverage and maintain stability.
Identify areas for process and product improvement to enhance overall quality.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent experience.
2+ years of industry experience in quality assurance.
Proficiency with QA tools and familiarity with common development environments.
Strong debugging, tracing, and bisecting skills.
Experience with hardware testing for consumer products or mobile devices.
Proven track record of designing and implementing test cases at the application and system level.
Ability to utilize current AI tools to enhance efficiency and problem-solving.
Experience with stress/load testing, agile methodologies, release testing, or IoT devices (preferred).
