What you'll do
Perform and review relay protection activities for electrical substation projects from 4kV to 765KV.
Prepare and review P&C engineering settings and designs for various electrical substation projects.
Conduct area protection studies and recommend settings for new transmission line protection schemes.
Model transmission system impedances and perform short circuit fault studies for project safety.
Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, checkout, and troubleshooting phases of projects.
What we're looking for
4+ years of related engineering experience in electrical substation projects.
Bachelor's degree in ABET-accredited engineering program; PE registration preferred.
Advanced knowledge in relay protection and control for substations (4kV to 765KV).
Ability to model transmission systems, perform fault studies, and adhere to NERC standards.
Strong leadership skills with experience guiding and reviewing work of other engineers.
Proficient in project planning, scheduling techniques, and cost management.
