Propulsion Engineer, Chamber and Nozzle Manufacturing

What you'll do

• Own the fabrication, assembly, and optimization of manufacturing methods for Raptor thrust chambers and nozzle extensions.
• Develop and refine manufacturing strategies, work instructions, custom fixtures, and tooling for complex components.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to capture manufacturing telemetry for statistical process control and defect reduction.
• Convert new propulsion designs into robust, scalable production processes while resolving nonconformances.
• Manage the entire production line including quality, capital equipment, safety, and facility layout.
• Drive design changes that improve manufacturability, reliability, and performance of high-temperature components.
• Oversee manufacturing software, documentation, simulation, and process standardization across internal and external teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with manufacturing process development for complex metallic components.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
• Experience with manufacturing techniques such as machining, brazing, welding, forming, tube bending, and structural assembly (preferred).
• Expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM) with success taking products through development, testing, and production (preferred).
• Ability to work well in an integrated and collaborative team environment (preferred).
• Understanding of test methods, setups, and data acquisition systems (preferred).
• Experience generating, reading, and interpreting engineering drawings (preferred).
