Program Security Representative (PSR) III serves as a critical member of the security operations team, providing multi-discipline security support for Special Access Programs. The role involves day-to-day analysis for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program activities to ensure strict adherence to NISPOM, DoD Overprint, DCID, and ICD requirements. Responsibilities include developing and executing policies for safeguarding data in support of military operations, identifying vulnerabilities to training and operational activities, and conducting facility compliance reviews. The individual will also manage the Operations Security program, provide leadership and mentoring to team members, and brief personnel on security topics. Key competencies required for this role include physical security operations, physical security systems, SAP security, and security policies. This position addresses the complex challenge of protecting highly sensitive information within specialized government programs.
Provide multi-discipline security support for Special Access Programs (SAPs), SCI, and collateral data.
Ensure strict adherence to NISPOM, DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policies.
Develop and execute approved procedures for safeguarding sensitive information in support of military operations.
Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to training and operational activities.
Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on reviews, and facility close-outs.
Monitor, report, and track all corrective actions resulting from security compliance reviews.
Investigate any loss or suspected compromise of classified information and generate damage assessments.
Brief government and senior civilian personnel on various security-related topics.
What we're looking for
US Citizenship is required.
Must currently possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
14+ years of related experience are required, or 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
10+ years of related experience is required with an Associate's degree plus 2 years of experience.
10+ years of related experience is required for those without a degree (equivalent to 4 years of additional experience).
At least 2 years of Special Access Program (SAP) experience is required.
Skills must include leadership, physical security operations, physical security systems, SAP security, and security policies.
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward 3 years of experience; Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts toward 5 years.
